Asus MS71 - USB Flash Drive and MouseWhile some USB flash drives are just too simple and their only function is to store data, others like the Asus MS71 can do a 2-in-1.

Besides the memory part, the MS71 can also work as a mouse thanks to the wireless receiver – plug one part on the USB port, and use the small mouse that even has a scrollwheel. I bet it won’t be easy to use a mouse so tiny, but at least it is a good option for emergency scenarios.

The mouse has a magnetic locking mechanism which attaches the transmitter for charging.

Sadly there is no information about the price, release date, colors available, or anything else.

Quite an interesting little product, especially when you consider the amount of technology (infa red, mouse wheel etc) packed into such as small space. Whether it would ultimately be practical or easy to use, I don’t know, but I bet they would be fantastic as handouts at seminaries and business conferences if the price were right! I work for a large distributor of usb flash drives and I’m well aware that people love gizmos and gadgets. Has the product reached Europe yet?
