Toshiba decided to launch a budget-laptop on the US market, more specifically the Satellite L350 that will cost close to $800.
For that price you get to pick the processor, an Intel Core 2 Duo T5550, or a Turio 64 X2 TL-60. The default value of the RAM memory is 2GB, but it can be expanded to a maximum of 4GB. There is another option on the video card: a GMA X3100, or an ATI Radeo X1250.
A good and unusual feature is the inclusion of 3 “sleep and charge” USB ports, which basically means that you can charge a device via USB even when the computer is turned off. Other goodies include a built-in webcam, Wi-Fi, and bluetooth.
The L350 series features a WXGA+ screen resolution with a TruBrite Panel, Vista Home, and a DVD DL burner.
