High performance laptops, and long-lasting batteries, are two characteristics that don’t match when put together. That seems to be the case with the recent server laptop made by Eurocom.
Entitled D901C Phantom-X, the small beast has a Quad Core Xeon X3360 processor running at 2.8GHz, and a good amount of RAM to keep up the speed - 8GB of DDR2-800. Other unusual details include 3 SATA drives which make up 1.5TB of storage, and being pretty heavy - close to 5Kg.
Don’t expect to pay less than $3,000 for the D901C Phantom-X laptop. It still comes with a blu-ray burner and a 17-inch display.
