The second version of the Eee PC which also known as 901 has been officially presented by Asus, they only forgot to mention the price and release date, but besides those two points, there is good information.
The upcoming portable computer is as small as it can get, boasting a 8.9-inch display like its little brother, and a resolution of 1024×600 pixels. Since there are 2 versions that differ on the operative system, there are also two different hard-drives: a 20GB SSD for Linux, and 12GB SSD for Windows.
One of the most important specifications – the processor – isn’t officially known yet. Still, the Eee 901 will come in black or white with 1GB of RAM memory, a battery life that can last between 4 and 6 hours, plus a few wireless connectivity options like Wi-Fi, WiMAX, and Bluetooth.
