Samsung i900 OmniaSamsung has recently announced their latest powerhouse cellphone, a.k.a. i900 Omnia. With Europe as the target, an expected release date set to July, and prices ranging from $580 to $680, the device can only be seen as a small threat to the iPhone that is “soon to be officially launched” in Europe

The specifications sheet is quite impressive, the i900 boasts Windows 6.1 Pro as the operative system, an accelerometer, and a card slot for microSD memory cards. Additionally, there is a WQVGA touchscreen that measures 3.2-inches and provides a resolution of 400×240 pixels, which seems to be good enough for the 5MP camera that has cool functions such as face + smile recognition, and geotagging.

Other usual features include bluetooth, WiFi, A-GPS, and FM tuner.

- Quad-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE
- 7.2Mbps HSDPA
