Some companies need to take extreme measures to sell more products, and that seems to be the scenario with Voodoo and their latest notebook Envy 133.
The tactic used is pretty simple it: call it thinner than the Macbook Air, and you’re suppose to get some attention, right? In this case, the Envy 133 is 0.7-inches thin and has weighs 1,5kg.
On the specifications sheet there is an Intel Core 2 Duo Processor - SP 7700 @ 1.8GHz - and at least 4GB of memory RAM. The hard-drive is top notch, which means it uses SSD technology and you have two options: 64GB or 80GB.
An interesting detail is the pre-installed Linux OS, but there is also Windows Vista in the package. On the other hand, the starting price of $2,100 can be considered interesting as well…
It also, like the Macbook Air, has a multi-touch trackpad that allows for more sophisticated gestures.
