Panasonic has announced the launch of two high-definition cameras, that is set for the upcoming weeks, more exactly on July 12th.
The HDC-SD100 and HDC-HS100 have a notable difference regarding the storage capacity, while the latter doesn’t have internal memory and only comes with a slot for SD/SDHC memory cards, the first one has a hard-drive with 60GB.
Besides that “small” detail, both HD camcorders have a 2.7-inch LCD screen, 12x optical zoom, the obvious HDMI interface, and a 5.1 surround microphone.
Recording settings:
- Video in MPEG-4 AVC/H.264 at 1920×1080
- Audio in Dolby Digital - Dolby AC3
