Did you ever want to check your exact movements on a map after a skiing session? Or maybe after a bike ride?
GTrek is able this info this feature by using Google Earth as the support, and the final result is a cool map in 3D terrain - much like the one you can see on the bottom of this post.
The time to record your location can be set for different intervals, with the minimum being 1 second, and the maximum going up for more than 50 hours. It can also record other types of data, such as the average and maximum speed, altitude, and more.
As you can imagine, all these details can be pretty useful, and it gets even better if you create a “movement map” - check the demo video.
As for the battery of the GTrek - 20 hours after a full recharge, or 360 hours in standby.
John Bird, co-founder of the GTrek:
We developed this product as a means of recording and displaying the type of information that an outdoor enthusiast, such as a skier for example, would want to see it in order to talk to their friends at the end of a day on the slopes.
