RoboTrac – the robtic farmhand of tomorrow

The Valtra RoboTrac is more than just a tractor. It’s a robot, and its much, much smaller than its industrious cousins. It is, in short, a fully automated, and fully programmable farm hand that is designed to assist, and round out a farm team.
It can perform a variety of tasks from tilling, plowing, disking, planting, and harrowing, to spraying, weeding, and other similar tasks. The images via coroflot are impressive. I don’t know if the product will ever actually come to market, but if it does…I don’t expect it to be cheap.
