Dell has released an impressive 1080p 23-inch LCD monitor. It also offers 300 cd/m2 brightness, up to 1000:1 contrast ratio and support 24-bit (16.7 million colors). Right now this is only available in Canada (huh?), but hopefully this bad boy will be reaching US shores very soon.

I’ve never been much on Dell’s PCS - but their monitors are great: inexpensive, and high quality.

I can’t seem to find a price on this thing - but based Dell’s other monitor offerings, it should be within the realm of affordability.
