Amazon’s UK MP3 Shop Goes Live Quietly

Well it didn’t happen in June as it was reported, but at least within 2008 Amazon has finally debuted their UK MP3 store.
Without much ado, Amazon revealed their first MP3 shop outside the United States. While the page looks rather similar to the one we’ve grown accustomed to, you’ll notice that all the tunes are DRM-free. Yes, and three million of them at that.
Assorted whole albums are going for a mere $4, and many singles start at $.86. Looks like it’s high time to move to England.
