According to The Telegraph, the European Union is planning on banning some of the worst energy-efficient plasma televisions.
The EU is calling plasma TVs the “4×4s of the living room’ since they use up to four time as much energy than regular televisions, and significantly more than LCD TVs.
While many of the plasma TVs on the market will be banned, some will receive an energy star rating so you know just how much guilt you should feel.
