Skype Launches iPhone Application

And the world rejoiced! Skype will be officially launching an iPhone application on Tuesday after a long wait by patient fans.
Today sees the launch of the Skype iPhone and iTouch app, with the Blackberry version coming out in May.
The app will be announed today at Las Vegas’ CTIA Wireless 2009 trade show at 3:30pm PST.
The scoop so far is that the app can only be access over WiFi, a condition, of course, demanded by AT&T and other cellular service providers, as to not steal revenue.
