New Mobile App Could Save Lives

April 1, 2009 | In: Cellular Phones

AT&T is launching a new app for Bluetooth-enabled mobile phones that will allow users to monitor their heartbeat and automatically transmit the results to their physicians.

The new application will require physicians to enroll in the program as well as pay a monthly fee, but might just end up saving lives.  MedNet Healthcare Technologies, who has developed the new cellular phone application, will be launching the service April 21st.
