Segway and GM Reveal PUMA Urban Car
April 8, 2009 | In: Cars Trucks
Not exactly what you would call perfect at this point, with no room for notebook cases or handbags, the PUMA is still an interesting marriage between Segway and GM.
The PUMA, short for Personal Urban Mobility and Accessibility, made it’s debut this week as a small electric urban vehicle that can reach speeds up to 35 mph and last 35 miles on just on single charge.
The PUMA uses the Segway’s two-wheel technology as well as General Motor’s ingenuity in the field.
Still not the best option for urban city life, the PUMA is one step ahead of the competition.
