New Version of Google App Engine

April 9, 2009 | In: google

google-appGoogle unveils a new version of their App Engine, and it looks pretty good to us.

More than 150,000 developers to date have built software and models using the Google App Engine and the new version goes even further to offer the scalable infrastructure with new and improved features such as “cron support” which offers developers a way to automatically run jobs.

The new version of Google’s App Engine also features a new database import/export that will allow users to transfer gigabytes of data into App Engine.

Not too bad, we think anyway.
