SmartQ 7 Internet Tablet
May 6, 2009 | In: Handhelds PDAs
Don’t you dare call the new SmartQ 7 a smartphone or, how dare you!, a notebook. The SmartQ 7 fancies itself an Internet Tablet, so don’t you go making any bones about it.
The SmartQ 7 is going for the ‘Internet Tablet’ market due to the WVGA 800ish x 480 pixel resolution being the exact same as Toshiba’s TG01, only instead of a 4.1 inch screen, we’re looking at a large 7-inch, not really what you expected, right?
Running on an unspecified Linux distro, the SmartQ7 features WiFi, USB-host mode, dedicated FN button, quality stereo speakers, and an 4500mAh Li-Poly battery which shouldn’t let you down.
There is no word on pricing or release date, but consider our ears to the ground.
