garmin-outdoor-navigatorNow you will never get lost in the woods again, so give up that Eagle Scout training ASAP.

We’re checking out Garmin’s newest outdoor navigators, the Oregon 550 and 550t to see how they stand out in a crowd.

Both are touchscreen navigators, so that’s already some huge points there, and with the additional 3.2 megapixel camera, waterproof chassis, USB connectivity and 3-axis compass, well, we’re gonna have to give them an A+ for sure.

Each device  also features a 3-inch display that will, don’t worry, still be visible during high afternoon sun, along with two pre-charged AA NiMH batteries.  The regular 550 will be available for $499, while the 550t will boast U.S. preloaded topography maps for $599.  Your choice.
