Is Social Networking Killing Blogs?

A new post by TechGuardian’s editor Charles Arthur claims that social networking sites such as Facebook and Twitter are killing blogs as a whole.
According to Arthur, Tweeting is far easier and shorter, and we as a whole are a lazy people who want our news on the go, which is why social networking is currently winning the war on news.
