Elijah Wood Says Gadgets Will Be Our End

28-year-old hobbit actor Elijah Wood apparently feels that gadgetry will be our demise.
Talking about technology, Wood reveals, “All we have to do is look at how ingrained we are into technology that continues to evolve at a faster rate than we can imagine. I remember a time when we didn’t have cell phones and now they have computing power greater than probably the first laptop I owned.”
“It’s madness. If it gets out of control and if it’s used for the wrong reasons or if it takes us away from our own humanity, then maybe that will be our downfall,” he added.
