Apple Developing New iPhone & Verizon Wireless Phone

That’s right, we heard it first on NPR and now you’re hearing it here. According to the Wall Street Journal Apple is in the process of developing a new iPhone as well as a Verizon Wireless phone. This is the first official word that Apple will be working with Verizon on an iPhone, bringing a long-awaited new smartphone to the currently lacking wireless company.
According to the report, Apple is “developing a new iPhone to debut this summer” as well as “working on another model for US mobile phone operator Verizon Wireless.” While this summer will mark only the one-year anniversary of the iPhone 3GS, Apple’s not known for sitting back on their hands.
We hope to have an actual release date for the Verizon Wireless iPhone in the near future, so hang in there.
