Apple Posts $3.07 Billion In Profits
April 21, 2010 | In: Apple
Even as iPhone carrier AT&T was reporting a downturn in contract customers, Apple was posting another record quarter, of course.
It’s pretty amazing, when you think about it, how Apple has turned itself around from the old Dell vs Apple days, you go Steve. Posting $3.07 billion in profits in the 2010 second quarter, having a fourth-gen iPhone prototype out of their hands wasn’t so bad, was it?
The second quarter of this year was the best non-holiday period of Apple on record where revenue was up 49%, profits up 90%. Of course the iPad had a lot to do with the upturn, and with the next-gen iPhone coming up, things are looking pretty freaking sweet these Apple days.
