nexus one />What the hell is going on over at these damn mobile carriers?  Now Sprint is backing out of carrying the Google Nexus One when they’re the company that would benefit the most from a smartphone in that craptastic handset lineup of theirs.  Sheesh.

Announcing on Monday, Sprint Nextel revealed that they had a change of heart and are no longer planning on carrying Google’s Nexus One mobile phone.  Sprint now joins the ranks of Verizon Wireless, who recently announced, despite much hype, that they would not be adding the Nexus One to their lineup.

What is happening out there in mobile land, man?  While there is no word as of yet from Google regarding Sprint’s backout, we’re sure there’s something on the way and we’ll be keeping you informed even if it makes us back out of a Google Nexus One.  Wait a damn minute, we’re not a mobile carrier, scratch that last bit then.
