Google Ready To Open e-Book Store

May 12, 2010 | In: google

google-ebookAccording to reports, Google has all the permissions that they need for opening up their e-book store and threatening Amazon and Apple alike.

The company has “clinched the support of almost all publishers in the United States” and might be able to launch their store as early as the end of June, of this year!

Apparently 25,000 authors and publishers have signed on to be part of the Google Editions launch, which could potentially be more than 4 million titles, and would be four times the size of the Amazon Kindle store.

Well, any less and we wouldn’t think it was Google.
