Apple iPhone 4 Pre-Orders Sold Out, Now Not Enough Touchscreens
June 21, 2010 | In: Apple, Cellular Phones, iphone
Well, the pre-ordering for the new Apple iPhone 4 has pretty much halted since the allotted amount has been sold out, but it looks like there is a new problem for the iPhone 4 launch, as usual.
Apple is apparently running out of touch screen displays to meet the high demand for the upcoming smartphone.
The display production bottleneck has limited the total number of iPhones it can ship monthly, where the previous estimate stood at 4 million units, and is now cut to half the amount. Other companies probably won’t mind being in Apple’s position though.
Wow. Now I really wish I had done a pre-order, if only to sell it back to you.
