Netflix Streaming Coming To Some Android Handsets

No, it won’t be holiday git but more a New Year’s or Valentine’s surprise when Netflix streaming will finally be coming to some Android handsets.
Finally joining the ranks of both iPhones and Windows Phone 7 smartphones, a handful of Android handsets will have the new Netflix streaming capability, though there is currently no list on which units will have the option available.
Greg Peters, Netflix product development specialist, reveals that, “the lack of a generic and complete platform security and content protection mechanism available for Android” has prevented the Netflix gang from creating a better app earlier.
