Verizon iPhone Debut Today?

After much anticipation, rumors and waiting, the Verizon Wireless Apple iPhone will more than likely debut today as the wireless company hosts a media event in NYC today.
We were hoping that Verizon would let some news of this grand day leak out on their website, but as of yet there has been little to no hint as to their intentions in this here media event.
To further the feud between AT&T, who is currently the only US iPhone carrier, and Verizon, an AT&T rep mentioned that the Verizon network was very “slow”, which Verizon shot back with, “it must be backwards day at AT&T.”
Oh, these two companies are just caught up in an adorable battle of the siblings, are they not?
