The next generation iPad was officially launched on Wednesday and we weren’t all expecting a thinner model, but we got one.
The iPad 2, which goes on sale in the US come March 11 and in additional countries March 25, finally features the camera we’ve all been wanting and measures in at only 9.5 by 7.31 by 0.34 inches. Wowza. It’s so thin we might just accidentally lose it.
With a 1GHz dual-core Apple A5, screen size and resolution of 9.7 inches, 1,024 by 768 and a battery life of 10 hours of Wi-Fi surfing, there’s simply no reason not to get the next gen iPad, especially with a reasonable price tag of $499 (for 16GB Wi-Fi version) up to $829 (for 64GB Wi-Fi + 3G model). Well, subtract that “reasonable” and insert not-going-to-kill-you price tag.
