Verizon Wireless Suspends 1-Year Contracts

If you’ve been updating your mobile yearly, then Big Red might now have something to say about it.

Verizon Wireless has just announced that they will be discontinuing one-year mobile device contracts, making you suffer with year-behind technology, unless you buy the new gadget outright, that is.

Come April 17 users will no longer have the one-year contract option, so you’d better get on that train fast if you’re up, or else be left in the technology cold.  Guess Verizon is worried about people jumping onto AT&T….?
