Ad-Supported 3G Amazon Kindle e-reader

Amazon has just announced that they will be adding a new Kindle to the e-reader line-up and this one’s gonna make them some dough.

After the successful ad-supported Wi-Fi Kindle, Amazon is now introducing a 3G ad-supported e-reader that will save you $25 compared with the non-ad version, which in our humble opinion, is simply not AT ALL worth it.

I mean, seriously guys?  $25 off?  That’s all we get to have to see ads on our reading screen?  I think not!  What about $100 off?  What a scam, guys, seriously.  No joke.

Of course the ads aren’t nearly as bad as we are making them out to be, as they usually just replace the static images where there is usually an author standing in, but $25 just doesn’t seem worth it.  $50 maybe, $100 definitely.

What do you say?  Does $25 off entice you to buy the ad-supported 3G Kindle?
