Probably not the most airworthy of aircraft, this near full-scale Bell 47 helicopter was built entirely from corrugated cardboard by artist Shannon Goff. Here’s a link to more detailed photos of the cardboard ‘copter.

Probably the most expensive gadget ever featured on any gadgets blog anywhere on in the solar system, the space shuttle discovery launched this morning without incident from Kennedy Space Center in Florida. From CNN:
