While this pretty stellar pillow rather resembles Pit Pat from Bob & Dave, we celebrate this design as we can now finally fall asleep at our desk, through those boring weekly meetings and even through your girlfriend’s rampage about how you should listen to her more.

While this pretty stellar pillow rather resembles Pit Pat from Bob & Dave, we celebrate this design as we can now finally fall asleep at our desk, through those boring weekly meetings and even through your girlfriend’s rampage about how you should listen to her more.

Created by Madrid-based design studio Kawamura-Ganjavian, the Ostrich Pillow resembles that of an ostrich along with the ability to stick your head into the base and forget about all those memos that have been piling up.

The Ostrich features a hole for your head, and two holes for your hands to grab onto. While it isn’t exactly a good posture for your back to be in, your face will be comfortable against the interior of the pillow. No word on pricing or availability of this pillow, but we’re pretty sure it could be a big hit with the office power-napping crowd.

Check out this new printer concept that would allow you to keep using your pencil stubs by feeding them in to this machine. How it works is you insert your old stubs and the printer converts the lead in the pencil into ink that can be used for your documents. There’s also a handy dandy eraser included, just in case you misspell mispell.

The Touch Sight camera may be one of the most original ideas for a portable device that I’ve ever seen. It is designed to be held against the forehead. The camera doesn’t have a traditional disply, instead it displays a three-dimensional representation of the image on a built-in Braille screen. It also records 3 seconds of audio to assist users in locating and managing their shots.

It’s only a concept design for now, but wouldn’t this be an amazing tool if it ever went into production?

If you’re not a fan of being rustled from sleep with a loud noise then this concept by designer Alfie Lake. It’s called the Osim Nioi Alarm Clock and it has three slots that you can load with different smells – both to help wake you up – and put you to sleep.

You can put a fresh flower scent cartridge in one slot for drifting off to slumberland, and have another cartridge wake you up to the smell of fresh bread in the morning.

Of course, it would really suck to wake up to the smell of fresh bread and not actually have fresh bread there to eat…but maybe that’s just me.
