British businessman Jimi Heselden who loved Segway so much that he bought the company has reportedly died after driving a rugged version of the gadget over a cliff and into a river on his estate.

62-year-old Heselden was found early Sunday morning in the River Wharfe making all of our geeky hearts mourn for this gadget world loss.

Heselden make his fortune creating a new design for wire cage walls that has become the standard for the likes of NATO and American forces.

Now you have no more excuses not to get an electric car with the new Swiss company Nation-E bailing you out of trouble if you run outta juice.

Manufacturing the very first mobile charging station, Nation-E is on the road with their new Angel Car Mobile Service Unit to get your EV charged in just 15 minutes for 19 minutes of travel which should be enough time to get your car to a charging station.

The company is in the works to get an international road show going in Europe and the US, so be on the lookout for dates near you.

We are officially on the last day of September 2008, and so far we haven’t heard a peep from electric car maker Green Vehicles on their new line of purely electric autos.

The Triac, Moose, Microwatt, and Buckshot are supposed to be going into production this month (and by this month I mean Sept.) but thus far, I haven’t heard anything about test drives, or vehicle availability.

Have you heard anything about the new vehicles? I’d love to know more about them. They do look like great second cars…and I just happen to need one…

Heck it’s already the the talk of 2008. The vehicle has a rather average outer shell, but the interior of the car is something to behold.
