OneLessDesk is the latest product made by Heckler Design, and it will be announced at Macworld 2008 on the upcoming days.

Basically, it is a combination of 2 desks in 1. Since it is specifically made for Macs, the biggest desk is suppose to be for the monitor and other extra items, like an iPod dock, while the smaller desk can hold the keyboard and mouse. To make it more compact, the lower part can be easily stored under the bigger “deck”, which saves a lot of space and makes the working space look better.

The OneLessDesk is made of brushed stainless steel, and contains a useful built-in foot rest.

- Tools? You don’t need no stinking tools.
OneLessDesk comes to you in a big box, completely assembled. Take that IKEA.

Priced at $900.

The Wall Mounted Fish Bowl isn’t a gadget per se, I think it can be considered as furniture for the best part.

Anyway, it is made of acrylic and as the name suggests you can place it on a wall, I bet it will look pretty strange but that is what we want. The bowl diameter measures 12-inches so do your math to see in which wall there is some free space so you can mount it without problems.

Think of the guests that visit you from time to time and just imagine how surprised they would be after noticing the strange fish bowl, on the other hand, think how hard it can be to change the water and feed the fish – is it worth it?

Price? $24

Normal desks are something of the past, they can be compared with the Vista computers and TVs. With this being said, I must admit that the name – Milk Desk – and design + functionality surely looks like something not normal, but in a good way.

The desk has an electronic base to raise or lower the desk depending on whether you choose to sit or stand.

Other interesting specifications include:

4 modular squares located on the left side that ca be used as storage compartments for pens, and other office material

To keep all the cables where they should be there is a cool cable drawer, and I’m not counting with the cable exits located on the far right side

If you want a more realistic experience when playing flight simulator games, you should check this amazing chair called HotSeat Flight Sim.

The system works with the most famous gaming devices (Wii, Xbox, PlayStation, PCs) and there are 3 models available that differ in quality and price. The top-notch HotSeat looks really good because it comes with a 23-inch LCD display and includes the Microsoft Flight Sim X game, the other models don’t have an own monitor so you have to use yours. On the other hand, all the models include a 5.1 surround sound system with a subwoofer, so the sound coming from the simulator will almost be equal to real life.

Prices can go from $900 for the basic version; $3,350 for the medium model that has a stand for a monitor (but no LCD included); $4,000 for the highest model. Visit HotSeat to order yours.

Do you remember the Key Caps? If not, I can refresh your memory by saying that they were extra-colorful computer keys that had different words/expressions printed on them, like Beer, Eject and Panic.

Well, it seems like the trend has got the groove on because there are actually real seats that resemble a computer key. As if that wasn’t good enough for most hardcore geeks, there is an option to pay an extra fee ($16) and the Computer Key Seat will be customized with the 10 characters you pick.

Their slogan makes sense, but only if you read it with your finger placed on a key:

The contoured shape holds your backspace just like your finger rests in a key

PS – the normal Key Seats cost $84.

For those of you whose diets consist mainly of bean burritos, salted cabbage, flamethrower chili and warm mayonnaise sandwiches, there’s an obvious need for alternate seating arrangements at the home or office. So some kind hearted plumber/ergonomic furniture engineer took pity on you and constructed this prototype loo/portable office combo.

The details on if or when this one will be available to the general public are sketchy, but rumor has it that the developers will be allowing preorders as early as Dec. 11, so a few lucky people will have them under the tree on Christmas morning.

Pricing (unconfirmed) for a standard black and white model starts at $195 (phones not included) and goes all the way up to $2879 for a water saving model with Egyptian lambskin seating and 7 speed built-in vibropulse massager.

Tip: Also makes a great gift for the know-it-all, beenthere donethat guy at the office.
