Come November a new kid’s in town, well, at least as far as Europe and Australia towns go.

Check out the new and pretty slick White PS3 that features not only a sexy white shell that you don’t have to spray paint but also a 320GB HDD as well as two shockingly stunning white Dualshock controllers.  Yeah, now you’re excited.

This newly designed PS3 will be headed to Australia, the UK, Germany and more than likely other Euro nations beginning November 1st, with pre-orders already happening.

If you were one of the lucky ones with a list direct to Santa, it looks like it’s gonna have to be Holiday Season 2012 that you’ll see the Star Wars R2-D2 edition Xbox 360 bundle under the tree as the gaming console has sadly been delayed.

The highly-anticipated Star Wars inspired gaming console delay has been confirmed by none other than a Microsoft spokesperson and the word on the street is that the delay was caused by the Star Wars Kinect game not being as polished as Microsoft and LucasArts were hoping for.  Siggghhhhh.

Well, of course we don’t want to have a craptastic Star Wars Xbox 360 but then again we were really looking forward to unwrapping that baby this year.  Also, sadly, there is still no official word on when we will actually see the release of this console but at least we know the steep price, $450.  Shouldn’t there be a discount after all of this?!

On Thursday Japanese company Sony revealed that the next generation PlayStation Portable machine will go on sale later this year, offering even better media on the go on a screen double to size of most smartphones.

The NGP will come packed to the gills with motion sensor and GPS location technology so you can tilt and sway the new machine to your heart’s content during game time.

Users will be able to interface with the touch panel in the front and touch pads in the back that will allow them to tap on the NGP to move images.  Of course there is no word as of yet on pricing or release date, but we’ll keep you posted.

Microsoft has priced the new Kinect and it looks like you can get the Xbox 360 add-on for $150 or for $150 more you can get a brand new 4-GB Xbox 360 with cameras and voice recognition for the ultimate Kinect experience.  Yeah, you can definitely see which way we’re leaning, can’t you?

Microsoft also said it will introduce a $200 version of its newly redesigned Xbox 360 Aug. 3. This entry-level console is identical to the $300 model except for its matte finish and storage capacity. Instead of a 250-GB hard drive, it comes with 4 GB of onboard flash storage. A Kinect bundle with the 4-GB Xbox, the new motion controller and the Kinect Adventures game will cost $300.

“$150 is an appropriate price for the Kinect,” said Electronic Entertainment Design and Research analyst Jesse Divnich in an e-mail. “Kinect should not be viewed as a typical videogame peripheral that is retired from one’s active playlist after 90 days, but rather a consumer-enabling device that has the potential to revolutionize the way we interact with all forms of media on a daily basis.”

The Sony PS3 Slim has just gotten a new color, and where else but Japan will it be launched first. Of course, apart from the virginal color, Japan will no longer offer 120GB and 250GB hard drives in their PS3s, as the minimum spec now stands at 160GB, while the larger capacity version would be 320GB. These new models will arrive in the Land of the Rising Sun from July 29th onwards, where you can choose from the current black and “Classic White” colors. Expect to pay $340 and $400 thereabouts for the 160GB and 320GB models, respectively. Hopefully Sony’s plans for the PAL regions or North America will be revealed in due time as well.

This time around you can trade in that tired white look for a black game system, combined with MotionPlus as well as a new game.  The package will retail for $200 even which will include the newly added game Wii Sports Resort.  When can you expect this added piece of gadgetry?  Look for it on Sunday, you know, just in time for Mother’s Day.

After all the false alarm hoopla, it looks like the game did see a November 17, 2009 release date after all. Ha, what do you know?!
