When Ludacris announced his new line of headphones called SOUL at this year’s CES, we didn’t really bat an eye.  After all, doesn’t Lady Gaga have her own series as well as Earth, Wind & Fire?  Who are we to judge?

Either way, the headphones are now finally shipping and are available through Apple, Best Buy and Amazon from $69.

The SOUL series of headphones and in-ear headphones will include the top of the line SL300 over-the-ear design noise cancelling headphones, priced at $299. It will also feature the foldable over-the-ear designed SL150 at $199 and the SL100 which is also foldable, except this time it will be an on-ear design and it will go for $149.

Last but not least the SOUL series will also feature two in-ear headphones with the SL99 which goes for $99, and the SL49 which will cost $69. If you’re interested in getting your hands on the headphones, just head on down to their website for additional information.

Got some spare dough burning a whole in your pocket?  We thought so.  So, if you have both the problem of too much dough running amuck and a need for new noise-isolating in-ear headset, then we have the perfect solution, the Bowers & Wilkins C5 Luxurious Headphones.

Crafted mostly from aluminum, its bullet-shaped earbuds look like a posh blend of the Zeppelin Air and Mini geared for mobile. The ‘buds are iDevice compatible with an inline remote / mic to get a handle on phone calls or swap though playlists, and have a few unique features to boot. To ensure a proper fit on-the-move, you’ll find Secure Loops that can be adjusted to hug the inner cartilage of your ear, along with added heft (Tungsten Weighting) near the inner-ear side for a tight seal.

While the $180 price tag may seem large at first, if you point your head over to the $300 Bowers & Wilkins P5, you’ll feel quite better about the purchase.

That’s right, you can expect to see the first Samsung LiMo handsets before 2010.   The SCH-M510 will come with a sharp  3.5″ WVGA AMOLED touchscreen display, 5-megapixel camera, WiFi, Bluetooth and an integrated accelerometer.

We don’t mind saying that this cell looks pretty sweet on hardwood, by the way.  Oh, and here are the rumored specs: 480×360 resolution touchscreen, QWERTY keyboard, new Trackpad, 3.2 megapixel AF camera, Bluetooth, OS 5.0, UMTS/HSDPA and UMTS/HSDPA.

We’d take one or two.

Relying on the sun’s power, you won’t have to worry about continually charging your headset when you go with this Bluetooh set.  You’ll be so fashion and environmentally-forward sporting this little gadget.

When used in stealth mode, the HX1 takes advantage of an ear sensor to convert your local vibrations into speech rather than using an external microphone.  Pretty Star Trek, right?

There are not details as of yet on a US release, but Asia will see the Motorola Endeavor HX1 Bluestooth headset in July.

The HALO headset will give you plenty of good talk time at 8 hours and a standby time of 13 days.  Weighing in at 2.8 ounces, you may look like you’re wearing a clunky helmet, but at least it won’t feel like it.  And isn’t that worth something?

The sensitivity on the set is a plus, with just a sweep of the hand you can quickly adjust the volume to the HALO.  The headset also features Noise Blackout dual-mic technology and you can connect them to pretty much anything you throw at them- MP3 player, cellphone, TV.

Available later this summer for $150.

While most companies go for the normal route of giving “normal” prices to their products, it seems like Ultimate Ears went on the opposite direction, and came up with the UE 11 Pro earphones, that cost over $1,000.

So what is so special about the Custom UE 11 Pro? How about a dual driver subwoofer that is suppose to provide high quality sound? Maybe the tweeter for “crystal clear highs” is what makes it so expensive? Or perhaps it is the dedicated driver?

The result is a total acoustic immersion that conveys every detail and emotional nuance to the listener.

I guess these are only made for the rich people, or for the crazy audiophiles.

Price? $1,150.

Sennheiser, known for its headphones that have quality above the average, has released yet another version of the CX 300 ear-in phones, now called CX 400. Needless to say, there are some improvements on the upgraded model, like the bass, greater clarity, better dynamics, and balanced sound.

Instead of the long cords that most headphones feature, the CX 400 come with a “short symmetrical cord”, but in case you need to add more length to the cords, there is a an extension.

Sennheiser’s new CX 400 is available in a choice of four colors: high gloss black, high gloss white, high gloss silver and something called ‘Bordeaux red’.

In the near future you’ll be able to buy the CX 400 for £55, approximately $110, and the package includes a case + 3 different sized ear adaptors.

As you can see on the image, the headphones look very unique, and stylish to say the least. In terms of sound, it can go up to 25kHz as the maximum, or 8Hz as the minimum.

The JVC HP-FX500 wooden headphones will become available in Japan, during February, for $131.

The Japanese firm bundles the earbuds with multiple sizes of rubber ear tips and a carrying case.
