I know, I know, I know. Reportedly, rumoredly and other adverbly, this could be just another lack of information Apple iPad 3 tease, but then again AllThingsD sometimes does end up having the up and up scoop on things.

So, here she goes, AllThingsD is reporting that Apple will soon be announcing the iPad 3 arrival, most specifically the first week of March in San Francisco.

AllThingsD suggested in their breaking story that Apple will be announcing the arrival of the iPad 3 sometime in the first week of March, where the event will be held in San Francisco. Of course, we would think that the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts would be the venue, as it has been Apple’s preferred location for major announcements in recent times. No idea on whether there will be a concrete date released soon, but since we are just into the second week of February, there is still some time left to churn up those muddy waters of Rumor River and see what one can catch.

What’s your call? Another in a long line of teases that won’t end up being a solid announcement? And you know, we haven’t even gotten to the many and more posts about expected release date, now have we?

Man, apparently November is the month for user interface facelifts. With YouTube slowly debuting their new UI, and now Netflix showing off their latest Android Tablet UI, who knows what may be next. Well, I guess we do. iPad users can expect a new Netflix interface coming up pronto.

Netflix has been a busy beaver making this new official redesigned user interface just for you beloved Android tablet lovers. According to the company the updates “makes browsing and instantly watching unlimited TV shows and movies streaming from Netflix better than ever.”

The new look provides multiple rows of titles with larger artwork to scroll through, with Neil Hunt, chief product officer at Netflix, noting that the company has seen a “threefold increase in how long Netflix members are watching on their tablets.” As of today, interested consumers can simply update their Netflix app in the Android Market, while iPad users are being asked to wait “a few weeks,” after which the new tablet experience will be dubbed Tabster and led on Twitter by a 17-year old methamphetamine addict.

So you love your iPad 2 but the workload your boss just assigned is making it hard to keep your fingers typing on the touchscreen keyboard, and now we have a slim solution just for you.

Say hello to the SKINNY from the folks over at Hatch & Co. While this is the first product out by the start-up company, we have a feeling it’s not going to be their last. The SKINNY is the world’s slimmest (0.07 inches thin) and lightest wireless keyboard and it’s made especially to fit your iPad 2 with a stylish faux leather case that’s sure to attract attention.

Not only is the SKINNY, well skinny, but also extremely light, weighing in at a mere 10.4 ounces, which will only make your iPad 2 weight two pounds heavier and that’s a drop in the bucket, as they say.

Other SKINNY features include iPad 2 wireless pairing, 68-hours continuous use battery life, and a USB charger that can give a full charge in two hours. Cost. $89.99. Go get SKINNY.

Well folks, looks like you’re going to have to amend the holiday list this year as Santa will be delivering no iPad 3’s this season.

According to several reliable sources Apple has had to cancel their iPad 3 supply schedule for the latter half of 2011 which of course has had the added negative of encouraging other same-level products to draw back their own supplies in order to compete with Apple’s one-day-soon launch.

If it pleases you any, the supply for iPad 2’s will be kept at a level of 28-30 million units, so you can at least give Santa that news…

Apple was originally set to launch its iPad 3 in the second half of 2011 with a supply volume of 1.5-2 million units in the third quarter and 5-6 million in the fourth quarter, but Apple’s supply chain partners have recently discovered that the related figures have all already been deleted, the sources pointed out.

Sources from panel players also pointed out that the 9.7-inch panel with high resolution requires a much larger backlight source and a single edge light bar is hardly able to reach satisfaction levels. Due to iPad 3’s requirements over the physical thinness, rich color support and toughness will all conflict with the panel’s technology restrictions; therefore, this could cause a delay in the launch.

You know Steve hated hearing that news. Sheesh. Hopefully the messenger came out okay.

On Monday Skype for iPad was unveiled live on Apple iTunes but only briefly as Skype revealed in a Twitter message that it had gone live prematurely.

“We know you’ve been eagerly awaiting Skype for iPad and apologize for the inconvenience”, the Luxembourg-based company said in a second message on Twitter.

It is not clear when Skype on iPad, which was reported to go live over a month ago, will now be available. A video of the application running on the iPad was posted online in June.

In a June interview with Apple blog TUAW, Skype’s vice president of consumer and product design, Rick Osterloh said the iPad version will have chat, audio and video calling. A few features in the PC/Mac app such as file sharing did not make it into the iPad version because of the way it handles files, he added.

There is no news as of yet when the app will come back but it should only be a small matter of time.

Conde Nast will be bringing The New Yorker to the iPad, along with Wired and Vanity Fair and five other mags at the end of this month.

Starting this week with The New Yorker, digital versions will be available for free to current print edition subscribers. For new subscribers it’s $5.99 per month or $59.99 a year, which gets you 47 issues. Seven other magazines from the publisher are coming by the end of May, including Wired and Vanity Fair, priced at $1.99 each or $19.99 annually. That matches up perfectly with the earlier announcements, meaning Apple and the publishers seem to finally be getting along.

It’s good to see that everyone is making nice with the leap to digital…
