GameStop has revealed the release date for Tony Hawk’s Ride game and skateboard peripheral as October 13. For $119.99 you will be able to skate to your heart’s content on the Wii, Xbox 360 and of course, the PS3.

The cost has come down quite a bit from the original reported price of $199, so consider yourself lucky and pre-order now!

Activision Confirms DJ Hero Release!

Finally and at last! Activision has been a busy bee of a company this month already, what with the announcement of a family-friendly Band Hero game and Guitar Hero 5 just around the corner, it’s any wonder they were finally able to reveal their DJ Hero plans.

Feast your eyes upon the now-infamous DJ Hero. We might not yet have a clue as to how to go about playing the thing, but it doesn’t look too shabby, now does it? Once DJ Hero is out and ready for purchase, you will be able to choose from such music genres as hip-hop, Motown, R&B, dance and electronica, as well as an option for self-recording.

Expect the new system to be out sometime this fall, but we’ll keep you posted on the upcoming and exact date, not to fear.

Webcam with built-in mic & speaker

When you think of a webcam, the normal components that come to mind is the lens of the camera, and the microphone.

But GizFever has been on the market of USB devices for quite some time, and they tried to improve the product by adding a speaker. It is probably one of the few webcams available worldwide with a built-in speaker, and it is already available for pre-order with a price tag of $32.

Another interesting detail is being able to rotate 360 degrees – this feature can’t be considered new per se, but it is a good match.

The exposal and flash controls are both automatic, and so is the white balance. As for the videos, they are recorded in VGA format at 30 frames-per-second.

Microsoft presents new web cameras – LifeCam

Microsoft has come up with 3 new web cameras that go straight into the LifeCam series. The prices range from $17 up to $50, which in the end can be considered an affordable webcam, right?

The new models are codenamed VX-5000, VX-500 and LX-200, with the first one being the most expensive. The inclusion of MSN Photo Swap software on the VX-5000, so you can share photos easily, is probably one of reasons why it isn’t as cheap as the other two.

What makes these web cameras different from others? The special base that is bendable and its innovative design.

Available in blue, green, and red, the LifeCam VX-5000 will become available in June, while the VX-500 and LX-2000 will hit the shelves this month.

If you like to have fake bling-bling to pretend that your life is full of luxury, this bootleg mouse named Diamante is a must-have item in your list.

In place of real diamonds, it has fake ones colored in white. It creates a cool shinning effect, that even the most rich person on the world would envy. Or not…

Kensington has a few interesting gadgets, such as the DomeHub and the dual monitor adapter, but the last one on the list is the Ci70 keyboard.
