Come November 3 Japanese gamers will be thrilled with the new PS3 bundle which includes Gran Turismo 5, Titanium Blue 160GB PlayStation 3, DualShock 3 controller and a 308-page game booklet for the “first run” of the new edition.

There are also five black cars that will be available as free downloads, which are the Audi R10 TDI Stealth Model, Honda NSX GT500 Stealth Model, McLaren F1 Stealth Model, Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG Stealth Model, and a Nissan GT-R GT500 Stealth Model.

The complete experience of PlayStation Move requires two controllers per person, either two PlayStation Move wands or one wand and one sub (nunchuk-like) controller.

In a four-player game, that arrangement would equate to eight total controllers. But there’s a problem that arose when we were pricing the Move peripherals. The PlayStation 3’s Bluetooth support is limited to only seven connections. That would put Sony one controller short. Sports Champions, for instance, is a PS3 title in which you can wield a motion-controlled sword and shield. In a theoretical four-person configuration, such wouldn’t be possible with fewer than eight connections.

Wow.  Sony’s got some ‘xplaining to do!

The problem that took down the network was that some older PS3 units’ clocks were not programmed correctly and thus has no idea what to do when Leap Year 2010 hit.  While some users may have lost some well-loved saved games, most PS3 owners suffered only from a lack of game play or in our case, no instant streaming Netflix.

According to a press release, the controller is being delayed from spring 2010 to fall 2010.

“We have decided to release the Motion Controller in fall 2010 when we will be able to offer an exciting and varied line-up of software titles that will deliver the new entertainment experience to PS3 users,” the company revealed in the release.

Well, I guess we’ll cry for a bit and then move on, huh?

Revealed at this year’s CES, these controllers are more AK-47 than ever before.  With a built-in joystick and D-pad, you won’t have to stop the action when shooting with these babies, just be careful if you decide to take them on a plane.

The PlayStation 3 Slim will be released in Europe and the U.S. September 1 while Japan will see the console September 3.

The Slim comes stocked with 2 USB ports, 120GB HDD SATA, BRAVIA Sync via HDMI and will be 36% lighter than the original.

According to the document, 7-Eleven will no longer be taking orders for black, white and silver 80GB PS3 after August 9. 

Hmmmm.  This is a tasty little tidbit.  Maybe we’ll be seeing a brand new PS3 before the month’s end!

Just in time for the holidays, Kotaku.com is reporting that there will be a new Playstation 3 bundle to put a twinkle in your eye this year.  The bundle is reported to include the 80GB console with companions Ratchet & Clank Future: Tools of Destruction and Casino Royale on Blu-ray video.  Cost of this year’s bundle the same as last year’s, $400.
