To make this wet task more amusing, H2O Audio came up with the iSH waterproof headset, which is made for specific iPod models – Shuffle Gen 2 and 3.

As expected, the headset is able to work up to 10 feet underwater, which seems more than enough. You can either use it with your own swim goggles, or pick the included sportband.

In the end you get to listen to your favorite tunes while swimming, in a comfortable way. For $80 it can be yours.

Fingertip access and full control of the Shuffle’s circular control pad.

PS – there is a case somewhere in the middle to protect the iPod.

Another day and another USB drive has been presented, this time thanks to Verbatim and their Store ‘n’ Go models.

As the name suggests this “Corporate Secure” model is suppose to add security to your data, so instead of the normal plug-and-play system that all USB drives have and lets anyone access important files, the Verbatim Secure is different because:

Prompts a user periodically for a third password as an extra precaution. And after 10 unsuccessful attempts to log on, the drive is locked down.

There are models for companies that for an extra price get an unlocking system, and models for normal users that don’t have that opportunity to reset the password in case it gets lots in the memory valleys.

Price? Starts at $65 for 1GB but there are 2GB and 4GB versions too.

Snow element + Scooter vehicle = a thing called Snowscooter.

It was presented today by JK Sports and it’s suppose to be the next big hit in terms of sports during the winter.

They say that the strange Snowscooter is easy to use and maneuver, just use it like it was a bicycle and you’re good to go. But I’m finding it a little bit too hard to believe how safe can this be when someone is going at full speed and a tree gets in the way – it doesn’t look too easy to turn right or left.

Anyhow, it does look pretty sweet and I seriously can’t imagine the fun I would have while “driving” the Snowscooter, maybe it’s easy to make a DIY project similar to this one but I don’t have the tools nor weather to make use of it.

I know that you have always wanted to use something like a hands-free camera while doing your weekly extreme sports routine, I also know that you tried to create one of these cameras but the project died after the first try.

So, here you have the Action Sports Hands-Free Camera (helmet not included) to have video memories of those special snowboarding moments, it’s a tiny camera that can be clipped to a helmet and record at a 30 frames-per-second rate. The data goes inside the small 32MB of internal memory but there is an option to expand the memory to 2GB with a SD memory card.

The maximum length you’ll be able to record while making use of the internal memory is 16 minutes (with a 640 x 480 resolution) which is not so bad. Besides video features, the camera is also able to take photos, more exactly 400 photos using the internal memory.

You have 2 options to export the captured video to other devices:

replay to a TV by using the RCA cable

transfer to a computer by using the USB cable

Price: $130

The Plug n’ Play Skateboarding is nothing but a cool skating simulator game, instead of only pressing some buttons and do cool tricks like it happens on Tony Hawk, you’ll ride a real skateboard with this new system.

Besides being able to pick from different difficulty levels, there are also three virtual scenarios to do your tricks.
It comes with a small hand console to control speed and tricks, but it doesn’t come with the 4AA batteries that are required.

How does it work?
Like the name suggests, just plug the skateboard into the TV and play.

Available at iwantoneofthose for $72.

[tags]skateboarding, plug and play[/tags]
