From the beta update you can be sure that, sadly, the MMS support cannot be turned on in Settings and that, also sadly, the tethering to be enabled with the previous iTunes has been patched.

Before you even attempt the newest OS, be sure you have iTunes 8.2, as it’s now required.

Feast your eyes upon the now-infamous DJ Hero.  We might not yet have a clue as to how to go about playing the thing, but it doesn’t look too shabby, now does it?   Once DJ Hero is out and ready for purchase, you will be able to choose from such music genres as hip-hop, Motown, R&B, dance and electronica, as well as an option for self-recording.

Expect the new system to be out sometime this fall, but we’ll keep you posted on the upcoming and exact date, not to fear.

There isn’t anything specifications-wise that we were not expecting, it’s basically your Amazon Kindle 2 but with a much larger 9.7 inch screen and more storage space for your reading loves. 

On a sad note, the $489 price doesn’t seem to include a New York Times subscription…maybe they just forgot that part.  Ahh, we can only hope.
