Sprint Samsung Instinct HD Mobile Available September 27

The official word on the street is that the Sprint Samsung Instinct HD will be here and available come September 27. Mark your calendars.

The Instinct HD will go from between $100 to $150 with contract and will apparently be a great mobile web experience. The new cell features a 3.2″ Touchscreen with motion sensor, WiFi and a 5 Megapixel camera with HD video recording and playback.

Motorola Cliq Pre-Orders Leak

A leak from T-Mobile is suggesting that the new Motorola Cliq will see pre-orders starting as early as October 19.

HTC Touch Pro2 Goes Verizon at $200 With Contract

Verizon Wireless is showing folks how it’s done by offering the new Touch Pro2 for a mere $200 with contract, and after $100 mail-in rebate.

The Touch Pro2 comes fully loaded with a 3.6-inch WVGA tilting touchscreen, Bluetooth 2.1+EDR, 3.2 megapixel camera, microSD expansion slot and a 3.5 millimeter headphone jack.

Samsung Star S5230 Think Pink Limited Edition

Sprint HTC Hero Release Date October 11

Sprint’s first Android handset will hit the cellular market come October 11 with a new face and a new price tag of $180.

The Sprint HTC Hero has had a bit of a facelift with a new face and a price lower than the Palm Pre. The Hero will feature a 3.5mm headphone jack, 5-megapixel camera, 3.2-inch multi-touch screen, Sense UI and of course Android.

Nokia’s 5230 3G With GPS Cheapest Touch Phone Yet

Nokia has just introduced their cheapest touch phone yet, the 3G 5230 with GPS.

At a little more than $200, the new Nokia 5230 mobile will get you all hot and bothered with a 2-megapixel camera, 3.2-inch touchscreen, Symbian S60 OS, microSD memory card slot and a 3.5mm headphone jack.

Not too shabby of course, but would you pick the 5230 over the $99 iPhone is the question.

Light Pink HTC Hero Mobile Spotted

The follow-up colors for the new HTC Hero were not expected out this soon, and certainly not in a light pink.

Nonetheless, this light pink HTC Hero was recently spotted and is now apparently available from UK retailers.

Huawei Android U8230 Phone

The Huawei Android U8230 from MWC this year has now been revealed and while the specifications are a bit on the vauge side, we do have some of the skinny on this upcoming phone.

The U8230 will feature a 3.5-inch touchscreen, 1500mAH battery and a sleek design. No word as of yet on launch date or price set but we’ll keep you posted.

Apple Unveils New iPhone 3G S, Out June 19

Well, a new iPhone is just down the road this June and it’s all pretty exciting.

Apple’s marketing whiz Phil Schiller revealed the new iPhone 3G S at this year’s WWDC last week calling the newest iPhone kid, “the fastest, most powerful iPhone yet.”

The 3G S, the “S” standing for speed, is indeed a more powerful beast than its predecessor, coming in at about 2.1 times the speed of the 3G model. According to the specs, the 3G S delivers 2.1x the speed in launching and executing applications and 4xs as fast when viewing attachments. Thankfully and finally, the mapping apps are about 3 times as fast.

The iPhone 3G S features a 7.2Mbps HSDPA for super fast downloads and a 3.2 megapixel camera with autofocus. Now too shabby for a $199 (16GB) to $299 (32GB) price tag. Be sure to preorder your iPhone 3G S now, with release date June 19.

Sony Ericsson Yari Offers Surprises

The newly unveiled Sony Ericsson Yari may not be the best slider phone you’ve ever laid eyes on, but the Yari does have some tricks up its sleeves.

The 5-megapixel digital camera features a decent auto focus, but the gesture gaming is really what this cell phone is all about. With an optical tracker developed by GestureTek, the Yari is more like a Wii phone than anything else. The newest Sony Ericsson slider uses its camera to detect your movements and translates them into gameplay. And did we mention the wireless multiplayer option?
