Dell Shows Off Adamo XPS Laptop

Engadget came across some very intriguing photos with Dell showing off the new Adamo XPS Laptop.

As you can see, the newest in the series has a completely different look and feel, and though there are currently no specs on this notebook, we’re all a little giddy with this leaked image where you can just barely make out a cool new hinge design.

Nokia Booklet 3G $800?

A mere day after announcing the Nokia Booklet 3G to the world, it looks like Netbook News is getting some fast news from a source.

The source reveals that the new 10.1-inch Booklet will run around $800. Wow, talk about the fast skinny!

The Booklet 3G is said to feature an 1.6GHz Intel Atom Z530, integrated 3G, 120GB HDD, swappable SIM card, WiFi, Bluetooth and A-GPS.

Still there is no official word as to pricing or the release date of the gasget, but we’re all expecting that to come out of the woodwork at Nokia World in early September.

Kohjinsha EX Netbook Comes With Two Webcams

Say hello to the new Kohjinsha EX netbook which for some reason treats you to not one but two webcams in case you’re in need.

This new netbook features everything you’ve come to expect from the Kohjinsha brand, including an Intel Atom N270 1.6GHz processor, 11.6″ 1,366 x 768 resolution display, Wi-Fi connectivity, 2GB RAM, Bluetooth support, 160GB hard drive and a fingerprint reader for all you James Bond fans out there.

Cost, around $635 depending on what else you might add to your netbook cart.

Best Laptop Company Tech Support

Laptop Magazine did a great test recently on which company that produces laptops has the best overall technical support, with the final word being Apple yet again.

The mag made two separate calls to each company’s tech support teach one during peak hours and one after. The support questions were pretty basic, such as how to change notebook settings.

Apple received an A for their commitment to customer service while Acer, Dell and HP received C- marks. Does this pretty much hold true to your experiences?

Averatec N3400 Laptop

The folks over at Engadget have reviewed the new Averatec N3400 Laptop and gave it a decent thumbs-up.

The $800 Averatec N3400 Laptop’s body compares with that of the MacBook Air despite that it’s almost an inch thick. Featuring an average 1,280 x 800 glossy display and 3GB of RAM, Engadget reveals the machine to work well for the reasonable price tag.

A noted negative of the N3400 is that to replace the battery you’ll need a screwdriver which sometimes isn’t the most convenient approach.
