It’s been rather annoying to be an HTC Hero owner, what with all the delays on updating Android, but it looks like those days may soon be over.

Come March the HTC Hero will finally see the Android 2.1 update and will be worth the wait as you can update from 1.5 to 2.1 without any other steps.

Motorola Motoroi Coming In March, MMM

After coveting Korean gadgetry from afar, we’re finally going to see some payoff with the Motorola Motoroi coming to the States this March.

Rick Wolochatiuk, Motorola’s rep in Korea has confirmed that the new mobile handset “will be launched in other markets around the world”, with the US being targeted for a March release.

Samsung To Release LiMo Handset Before Next Year

Samsung has now reassured us once again that they will be rolling out the first LiMo cellphones in South Korea before the year is up.

That’s right, you can expect to see the first Samsung LiMo handsets before 2010. The SCH-M510 will come with a sharp 3.5″ WVGA AMOLED touchscreen display, 5-megapixel camera, WiFi, Bluetooth and an integrated accelerometer.

HTC HD2 (Leo) Makes For UK Release Date

The HTC HD2, also known as the Leo, will be making its way to the UK October 12 and the handset has made its official debut in an O2 in-store catalog.

As Engadget pointed out, it is a bit odd that the catalog pic shows the HTC HD2 with Windows Mobile 6.5 UI instead of TouchFLO 3D.

Sprint’s first Android handset will hit the cellular market come October 11 with a new face and a new price tag of $180.

The Sprint HTC Hero has had a bit of a facelift with a new face and a price lower than the Palm Pre. The Hero will feature a 3.5mm headphone jack, 5-megapixel camera, 3.2-inch multi-touch screen, Sense UI and of course Android.

Apple To Release Mac OS X Snow Leopard Friday

ReleaseDates has it that Apple will be releasing their new operating system come August 28, 2009.

On Monday Apple announced that the Mac OS X Snow Leopard would be available for pre-order Wednesday and available in stores Friday.

For current users the cost of the OS is $29, with a five-fam pack at $49.

The upgrade will feature a better, more lightweight version of QuickTime, an OpenCL, 64-bit kernel and drivers, Microsoft Exchange servers support and Grand Central multi-core processor support.
